System 06

AI social media engine

Social media demands a volume nobody sustains by hand. This engine turns material you already hold into a steady stream of posts: product photos, articles, figures from your own systems. In the right format per channel, and always with someone approving.

Why social peters out

It starts with enthusiasm and collapses within two months. The reason is nearly always the same: each post needs an idea, an image, copy and a format adjusted per channel. That is fifteen minutes apiece, and across four channels it becomes work nobody frees up time for.

The reflex is then to buy generic content or let a model write everything. That fills the calendar, but it produces posts that could have come from anyone. The distinction sits in material only you hold: your products, your figures, your own imagery.

How the system fits together

Source in, a fitting post per channel out, with a person in between.

  1. 01

    Drawing on your own sources

Product feed, new articles, seasonal data, price changes and availability. The system therefore always has something concrete to say rather than a general thought.

  2. 02

    Imagery that comes along

From one product photo or article image, the variants each channel asks for are produced, including short video from a still.

  3. 03

    The right shape per channel

What works on Pinterest is not what works on LinkedIn. Tone, length and aspect ratio differ per channel, from the same source.

  4. 04

    A queue with approval

Everything lands in a queue before it goes out. You approve, adjust or discard. Nothing publishes itself without someone having looked at it.

How it gets built

  1. 01

    Settle sources and tone

Which material may be used, what the tone is per channel, and what may never go out automatically. Those boundaries first.

  2. 02

    One channel live

Start with the channel where your audience is, with full approval up front. Only expand once the quality holds.

  3. 03

    Measure and prune

Per source type, what reach and interaction it returns. Whatever does not work comes out rather than gets added to.

What the system does

A steady stream of posts drawn from your own material, in the format each channel asks for, without anyone starting at a blank screen every day.

  • Posts fed by your own products, figures and imagery
  • Imagery and short video derived from existing material
  • The right tone, length and aspect ratio per channel
  • An approval queue, so nothing goes out unseen

What it costs

What an engagement costs depends on its scope and on how many systems are involved. I work with a fixed price per phase rather than open-ended billing: you know what a phase costs before it starts, and you decide after each one whether to continue.

I only quote a figure once I know what we are talking about. That takes a half-hour conversation, at no charge.

Whether this fits

This works well when

  • you hold source material: products, imagery, data or articles
  • you serve several channels and cannot keep up
  • someone can approve briefly each day
  • your tone of voice is settled or can be settled

This fits less well when

  • you have no imagery or data of your own to draw on
  • you expect it to run without approval
  • your audience sits on one channel you already serve well

Questions about the social engine

Does it publish on its own?

Only if you explicitly switch that on, and I advise against it for the first six months. The default is a queue with approval. Fully automatic publishing is exactly how brands get incidents that then linger for months.

Will it be recognised as AI content?

If you let a model invent everything, yes. That is why this system draws on your own sources: a post about a product that came back in stock today, with your photo and your price, is not generic. The form is automated, the substance comes from you.

Which channels are supported?

Pinterest, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook are the common ones. Which are worth it depends on your product, and we settle that before anything is built, because serving four channels halfway works worse than one properly.
